My new thrill is finding natural lighting that mimics what I work hard to do in studio! This last session was fantastic for this. We happened upon this old train depot. The light coming in through some windows with some diffused type paper blinds lowered FANTASTIC!!!
Some lovely rembrandt lighting . . . fun, fun, fun!

I don't usually go this dramatic and contrasty on my seniors, but I just had to use it when I saw it. The others we did outside in natural lighting, more my usual style!

A fine example of a sharp, crisp shadow on the back wall.

Skin and jacket look blown out, personaly ithink the lighting is harsh

Not blown out, values are within the range they need to be. And as I said, it is not my normal style for senior portraiture, but it was fun finding the lighting and putting it to work! I will post more from her session as I edit them.
