I think it is an interesting concept - could be kind of cool. For now, the lights of your dashboard and your hands in the shots really distract from what could be. Definitely some exposure correction as well.

They seem really overexposed for light painting. You've lost any real definition in most of your light. You really have just a mess of light in each of them and no composition or anything. It's fun to play with. Keep going!
