I am so leery of ticks anymore, my nature hikes have changed drastically. I hate using chemicals, so I've been sticking to cleared paths lately. Nicely done.

I bought the dog a $75 tick collar in addition to the pills she takes. I check myself throughout the hike and before I get in my car. Fall and winter are safer in Tennessee.
