I encourage everybody to post their own pics in this thread, and to help everybody identify their finds. Fungus is a favorite hobby of mine.

I'll start with a few, but I have tons.

Ramaria sp.

Xeramphalina campanella

Melanoleuca sp.

Alright guys! Let's see what you've got:mrgreen:

Yep, nice collection of saprophytes. Ours didn't do too well this year. Too dry during their fruiting season.

"Fungus, Lichens, and Mosses" - sounds like a law firm! ;) Nice series.

 It kinda does, lol.

Sorry that your fungus isn't treating you right. Can I console you with some more pictures of fungus?

Rickenella fibula

Omphalatus illudens

Mycena galericulata

Chlorophyllum molybdites, I accidentally introduced this species to my yard. I'm not upset as they're one of the best looking mushrooms.

Entoloma caeruleum

Hopefully, some of you have some pictures to add:wink:

Nice shots. I like the third one in the first set and the fourth one in the second set.

Thanks, western guy.

I can't believe nobody has any fungi to add. They must not be a popular photo subject.:er:

Entoloma muraii

Agaricus abruptibulbus

Cortinarius sp.

Russula emectica

Amanita multisquamosa, lifting its skirt like a shameless hussy:lmao:

Cortinarius iocephala

Amanita muscaria var. guessowii

I'm still going

Coprinus

Pleurotus dryinus

Nice subject. I like mushrooms a lot. Don't get to go out and pick them as much as I used to because I don't find myself near the coast that much any more. Where I am now we get morels in the spring and that's about it that's of interest to me. Fall is a pretty short season for us though unfortunately!

I do have a few for you, from a while back:

I'd love to go back to Vancouver Island in the fall again, now that I have a macro lens. Mushroom paradise there!

That's awesome. Thanks for the action guys.

Great bokeh Steve.

They are kind of hard to find at -20°C and 20 cm of snow.

Maybe in few months when some semblance of warm and sunny and green comes back.

A valid point. lol

Just a little bump
