I spotted this dude sitting in some nice late afternoon light so I had to capture it.
For those that don't know, it's a squirrel.

A Palm Warbler I believe. (with a touch of oof to show I make mistakes, too.)

A flash of brilliant blue from the spread wings in the golden hour sunlight grabbed my attention and I captured a few shots of this Eastern Bluebird when it landed close by. (loving the artifacts in the sky)

A squirrel? I thought it was one of those tree climbing wombats. [emoji6]. Nice shots.

The squirrel wins this. He got the right light,,,,,,,super sharp, colors are brilliant and contrasty.
How did you get that close to him, Kirk? Did you bait him in with with food, or dress up as Bullwinkle the moose?

Thank you. I got that close to him with something called a telephoto zoom lens. Squirrels wanting to be in the movies love them.
