Thanks, I'm going to try the lens at f/8. For this one, I had the camera highlight tone priority at D+ and the EB at +3/4 EV. I was concerned that the pics would be too dark otherwise. The D+ has a minimum ISO of 200. f/6.3 1/1250, since I was anticipating a take-off. As it was, it stayed put until after I left.Very nicely done Jeff!
Something to consider is stepping down that lens a touch at the long end for static subjects. I like shooting with my camera on manual, and auto ISO as I tend to get my sharpest shots around f8. Could be worth trying with your new lens too.
