German cruise-tourists on visit

This ship carried a large number of German tourists visiting Oslo last weekend. The harbor-area is closed, but I managed to slip my camera thru the fence to get this shot. 3 shots +/-2EV and Topaz Adjust applied.

Due to the three exposures, the sky seems a bit wonky. But I really like the angle and composition! The processing doesn't quite fit my tastes, but everyone sees an image differently!

I would have to agree with OscarWilde- I think you need to work on the sky more it is quite there yet. Great angle shot of this huge ship. Other thing I am not to crazy about is the edge of the photo I think either a solid white border or no border would have looked better.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree that the sky could benefit of some more work. I used Topaz Adjust on one of the layers and increased saturation on the other layer.

I meant to ask what filters in topaz adjust did you use

I'm usually a big fan of your work, but not so this time. As already mentioned, the sky just looks too far from reality. The ship is just too processed as it looks just way to dirty and grimy. Also not thrilled with the jagged white border.

My first thought after viewing the photo was that a highly talented airbrush artist or a movie effects matte painter painted it.

I think it's the soft "frosted" look around the lines tying the ship to the dock and windows on the back, lower half is what gives me that impression.

Not too crazy about the color gradiant look of the sky.

I agree the subject, composition and angle are very good.
