Spent the last two weeks @ GNP & YNP. Hiked the back country of GNP saw 10 grizzlies in one afternoon. On the hike out a big ole black bear decided he wanted to use the hiking trail. While watching wolves at YNP the hawk presented a photo opportunity. The elk was a event to watch...

Just out of curiosity, what type of lens did you use?

The hawk and elk were taken with a Canon 400m 5.6 on a monpod. The bear and Mnt Goat were taken with a Canon 100 - 400 telephoto IS free hand..
