My first attempt at light trails.
There are a few things I'm not happy with, but let me know what you think.

I think for your first attempt you have done really well. Well done.

I'd say not a bad first start. Went just before dark to get some color in the sky which in my opinion looks better than completely black skies.

How long was your exposure? Maybe go for longer exposure to get more streaks.

Good use of leading lines, but maybe find a street that leads into a city skyline would make the photo more interesting.

It's a good start for capturing light trails, but your composition doesn't work with the center street lamp going straight thru the center of the photograph.

Thanks for the comments.
The exposure was 30 seconds. It was a trade off from going earlier and getting more traffic, or waiting until the light was just right and losing a bit of the traffic.
The idea of having the lines leading into a cityscape is a good one. Thanks for that spicyTuna.

FanBoy, that's one of my concerns with the location I chose. It's on a bridge and there was no opportunity to get a good angle without having the street light in the picture. In the end I tried to get it as center as possible.
