Any night photographers here use a back light scanner? For those that have no idea what I'm talking about, it's a light modifier designed a few years ago by a light painter that goes by Palateth. It's a fairly simple device that directs light 365 degrees to provide even illumination, especially if used in a hall or tunnel. There's different ways to make them (poster board, funnels, or 3-d print one.) I've been experimenting and had mixed results and I'm just curious if anyone else has tried one and cares to share their experiences or tips. Attached is a test I made on some local trails recently.
