Had a look - not sure which one I like better. Probably the B&W as the colour doesn't seem to add much, if anything, to the image. It is the texture of the gnarly roots that is the key and they look just as good in B&W, if not better. The only exception is that in the colour one, the water line is more obvious, but that isn't serious at all.

With both, I like the depth I was able to create between the BG and the roots.
