Goanna (Lace Monitor-Big Lizard)

Taken on one of the offshore Islands of the Great Barrier Reef, this specimen was about 5 feet in length and came in to investigate what we were having for lunch. Usually non-aggressive however the "urbanised" specimens can become a bit pushy when food is around and they are used to getting fed by people.
