goldeneyes at the marina today

went down to the marina for a couple of hours this afternoon, just to see what was around... not much, mostly gulls, but there were some Barrow's goldeneyes hanging around. only saw one male, but there were probably a dozen females in two groups. the light was kinda on-again/off-again, but i managed some decent images during the spells of good light...

Nice. I went to the estuary and saw six eagles, but flying so high I didn't even attempt a shot. Same weather over here.

thanks, Brian... no eagles here, though i'm sure i could probably have found one if i'd looked hard enough. only had a short time, though, and didn't want to spend it "hunting"...
