What's new

A blast from the past - Nikon D70s

I, too, started with the D70s when it first came out (2004)...I had very little DSLR photography experience...funny thing is, my brother was trying to teach me about how to use the exposure compensation....back then, it just wouldn't click in my head....so I ignored him, figured I'd never use whatever it was he was trying to teach me........speed up 21 years to the present, I use exposure composition ALL THE TIME now... 😂

It's the perfect example of "Ya don't know what ya don't know!".....

It's been a WONDERFUL journey, with lots of found memories of the ol' D70s....(I still have it too....buried way back in the closet!)

Found this photo I took with the D70s....my brother lent me his AF-S 85mm f1.4....i didn't realize what I even had attached to my camera (boy, I do know tho!)....I was freaking clueless as to what I was doing, Just look at the camera setting 🤣😜😂....WTF!? (F/1.4 85.0mm 1/2500s.....ISO wasn't listed)

But even with all that wrong, it took a great photo!

Unsure what's being celebrated here now: "P" for perfect or a specific Nikon model? Old Nikon picked up cheap. So what? It works...Next.

You are really disrespectful. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't comment. I had enough of your attitude towards my posts.

It's just one of many early DSLRs--and nothing special provided they're giveaway-priced. Even then, they're hardly a recommendation-worthy Nikon. BTW, this isn't a petting zoo, bro.
