very nice, works well in a square crop as well (i have a small laptop screen at the moment, so the crop just happened ;) ).

I'm just curious, what was the equipment used for this shot? The bokeh is phenomenal!

Gitzo series 2 tripod (cant remember which one but I no longer have it)

you must have almost have felt it's beak on your nose if there is no cropping even with 300mm.
