I don't get it... Last time I looked up the cost of a used film Hasselblad the price was about $200.00 and a quick google search (sponsored ebay link) and the price is $200.00..... Man am I lost.

Looks fun. Wish I had one and a scanner.

Sounds like you could get one from this link of yours. Go for it!

@cgw: What a beautiful kit! I like the prism viewfinders, even if they do add another half pound to the thing. Waist-level is too awkward for clumsy people like me.

Have you taken this out for a spin?

Hah! 200 clams buys a Hassie film back...
It's a Bronica SQ-B, once sold as a budget kit: body+120 back+WLF+80/2.8 lens. Got it cheap($400)boxed like-new from a would-be wedding shooter like 15 yrs ago. Added the winder grip, extra 120 back and 105/3.5 lens. Sweet little 6x6 camera system. Shot it lots up to the pandemic. Plan to put it and the 645 and 6x7 gear to use for some b&w portrait projects later this year. Everyone needs a little weight-training, right?

So the idea of a waist shooting camera is so no one knows your photographing them, how sneaky🤫...

Flip-up back screens allow this, too, but the image isn't reversed L-R. Get a view camera and it's upside down, too.

Nice Bronica. I had an interesting time yesterday shooting my Mamiya 645 PRO... Medium format... yes :victorious:
Love the later 645 models. Find that a winder grip is almost mandatory to overcome their wonky ergonomics.

For sure, -the winder gip helps ergonomically, - mind you it's fairly weighty thing!
And noisy as hell! Like lug nuts in a food processor! Not that I've tried...

Old school
Staggered by current asking prices for medium format system cameras.
Old school
Old school's gotten pricey! Current asking numbers for nice SLR medium format gear can induce palpitations, especially from Japanese dealers on the big auction site. 15+ years ago, friends told me to
snatch pretty MF gear when it surfaced--advice I took despite being new-ish to photography. Recall getting a NOS boxed Mamiya RB67 Pro S body+120 back+WLF kit for $130--a portrait shooter's back-up camera. Desiccant pack still in the box--yikes!
