She's been on the fence next to my window, finally got a good shot of her...

Kind of Mr, i think i was like 1cm to dam close.

Everything came out blurry and not sharp, especially the eye for being that close & the shutter wasn't slow enough for motion blur. These 2 were the only decent ones out of them so im ditching the 200-500mm and im gonna put the 70-300mm kit lens on for this spot, she should be back.

Still looks very good in the second one, but yes, 200mm makes close up images a challenge unless the lens is designed for it. I can take a pic at 400mm at 10" with my Tamron. My 150-600mm Sigma, I have to be at least 10 feet away.

She's an Eastern Koel, they migrate south to Victoria from Queensland over summer. There of the cuckoo family so there hiding there eggses in other birds nest atm .

I thought she had the look of a cuckoo...they are very devious birds.
