I love the coloring in the peacock feathers

I have four, three of them I got when I was 16... Ended up with the ultimate tramp stamp, a play boy bunny (WTF was I thinking!?!), a small cat face on my right butt cheek (again, WTF was I thinking..) and a little tiny female symbol in the middle of my lower stomach. The other one I got two years ago when I was 26 and it's a bow (ribbon) on my wrist.

Yeah I regretted it as soon as I turned 18 though so I cover it up as much as possible.

When I was a kid I read "The Illustrated Man" by Ray Bradbury and I became totally fascinated by tattoos. Now I have quite a few of them, although I call it my 1 tattoo because it is meant to be one piece.

Two things though. I got my first one at about 40 years of age. And I can wear shorts and a short sleeve shirt and you won't see any of it.


The last year I was in the States, some kid in my area tried to sue a potential employer for discrimination: the kid had (stupid) tattoos all over his face and would have been dealing with customers if he'd gotten the job...


Now, to the OP: What is the relationship between the peacock feathers and the owl?

Haha, well its definitely hard trying to get a good shot of my back myself. I know its underexposed but it was meant to be. This tattoo is number 6 for me but like Cloud the majority of mine are all able to be covered up because while I dont give a **** what people think of me, I do care what my kids friends say to them and I dont want them to have to defend me or anything.

MissCream- the owl is one of my totem animals and it means in my belief that be true to my mind and my beliefs. It watches over me and placing it in the center over the feathers interconnecting means Im always watching over them. Of all of my tattoos they all mean something except for that damn tramp stamp. Haha.

I never finished up with the idea. As a child I was fascinated with the story of Rikki-Tikki Tavi. I started out with Nag, but never got around to do Rikki-Tikki on the other side.

Lol at the time it did. I was married to my now ex husband who said I couldnt get a tattoo. Sooooo I put one in the place I knew would send the loudest message. Crass I know.
