Nice shot but there is something odd about the proportions. It is like she was trying to create an illusion. I did that sort of thing in the fifties as well; my sister in a frying pan over a fire.

Hmmm, i think her thinking might have been more sophisticated then that. It looks like the size porportions of the subject follow the golden ratio from one to another.

my mom's ex husband died last year, and I went through some of his pictures a few weeks ago..found pictures of my mom when she was in high school that he shot when they were dating, pictures of my grandma in her mid 30's or 40's, just incredible pictures because of the context.
