Thanks! Yes, the B&W version does need a bit more attention to composition.
I happen to prefer the color version I think. I don't think the need for cropping is as high for the color, but maybe you feel differently.
I did try some different crops and just wasn't convinced it help much.

Yeah, I like the color version more. I too am often drawn to grasses when photographing during the warmer-weather months of the year.
