The second picture is awesome, i'm liking the first one more and more, but the second one grabbed my attention right off the bat. I would say make the blacks a little but more dark to add some drama to it. But fantastic shots in my opinion

Thank you! I think you're quite right on all counts. I'll go there again and try to get the second one with the right light and definitely push the black on the shadow. I did another version where the blacks look as you describe, but the light just wasn't there on the left side. Thanks again.

The first picture has those great dramatic shadows. The second picture doesn't do too much for me since i'm not sure what it is you want me to pull away from the photo. The black and white tones on both though are very good!

Again, totally agree. There was great light on the second one but ultimately it does leave me unsatisfied. Your critique is very on point for me generally. Thanks!
