Wow.. gorgeous. Funny thing, when I first encountered Pelicans I really didn't find them to be of much interest, but at the time there wasn't much else out at the local lake to shoot - the one sandhill crane that was out and about that day was being a real nit. So after spending a few hours watching them and shooting them I gained a whole new appreciation for them. They are such goof balls really, and so ungainly on the land but so incredibly graceful in the water and in the air. After that I sort of got hooked, been shooting them ever since.

Great shots! I love pelicans I find them to be hilariously clumsy.

If I might make a suggestion, a real tight crop on #2 might be nice.
