Cool looking leaf. I think it is a little too centered. I also think it would be cool if you only shoot the interesting part of the leaf with a macro. Something to think about.

Thanks. The rest of the leaves on the plant don't have that indentation. My wife said it's some kind of viburnum and that one leaf is deformed.

I really like tightly cropped shots and think this one would benefit from cropping, darkening the background and sharpening the foreground to bring out details

Yep, I spent a long time back and forth over keeping that green line in the upper left and losing it. The cropped version certainly puts all the attention on the leaf and simplifies the shot. I was afraid it was too simple but I probably over-thought it.
