Greenfinch Resting

Hi all, not posted in a while. Quite regularly at my Gran's house small birds fly into the windows and get stunned, but usually get up and fly away. This one had been stunned for a few minutes so as still as I could managed to photograph it without scaring it. :sillysmi:

Poor birdy but when I came back from getting a drink, it had flew away. Picture taken with Canon EOS 350D with 18-55mm lens.

poor little thing, they have a habit of flying into the patio doors where I live. Every so often I'll see a imprint of their bones on the glass. Guess I should take a photo of one really.

Good shot there, bird would be still stunned so you get a good chance of getting close.
