Yesterday I went on my lunch break and took some pictures of a beautiful landscape of the mountains here in new mexico with my D60. I used spot metering to determin exposure. When I got home and examined the pictures I found that the trees I used to lead into the mountains and horizon came out way way too saturated. I can't post the pics because I'm at work put i will attenmp to as soon as i get home. Bearing in mind that I am completly new to photography (about 2 weeks in) can any of you think of what I may have done wrong off the top of your heads? I'd really like to know how I can mellow out the green of the trees. Thank you so much in advance!

Is your monitor calibrated? Maybe you photo is fine but your monitor is displaying greens with too much saturation.

I didn't think of that. I'll definatly have to look into that. Thank you!

Is there something camera side that could cause this as well?
