Hello everyone! My name is Daniel and I am from Austria. So during the summer I went on a trip in Southeast Asia and my group's tour guide was taking pictures with a relatively old camera (which turned out to be a Leica M4P). I have never done any photography before, so I really didn't know much about it (except for astrophotography, since I am really interested in that). On a few occasions I would talk to him about photography, especially film photography. I remember that my grandfather used to do a lot of photography, so once I was back home and looked around my grandparents' place I realized that Christmas came early. So I basically started using the film cameras that my grandfather left behind (if you guys are interested, I could make a list of cameras I found at my grandparents' place). I already shot a few pictures (could also post those, if you guys are interested) and just past weekend I did a photography workshop where we learned how to develop B&W film and how get those pictures on paper.

TL; DR: I got into photography two months ago; found my grandfather's old cameras (saved me some money ); learned how to develop films. And so far I absolutely love it.

So yeah, feel free to ask me anything, if there is something you are wondering about!

Oh sorry didn't see it! I guess I will just post there then! Just watch that section. I will try to post the thread by tomorrow night, although can't promise anything as I have quite a lot of work for university.
