The Grey Goshawk was active today in the brief winter sunshine, trying it's best to avoid the attention of the ever present Masked Lapwings who will blow its cover every time.
It appeared to be actively hunting the Green Rosellas taking up a lofty position, picking out where they were before flying into their tree and scattering them.
But these medium sized parrots are far too quick off a standing start for the Goshawk, she may have to go back to her old method of hunting, that is hiding in amongst the White Cockatoos before bursting out to take smaller birds on the wing.
