A bit of a blue sky and a ray (!) (<---- heehee) of sunshine could help, too. Or working the archives and digging out long forgotten photos of trees in full foliage. That is what I am doing right now :D. (Which does not lead to any new photos being taken, though, I must admit that!).

I love the ray of sunshine in the stark, cold meadow. Taking photos like these leaves you have no excuse to stay inside!

These are nice. I like them both but #2 seems more interesting. It is cold, snow/rain/sleet here as well and it is making me hope for an early Spring.

Hai, They do give the feeling of how life spurts out from the barren.

Awww :goodvibe: --- so great to read all your replies.
They really help me overcome my winter blues.

And Ravi: if only that first would show the beginning of new growth, but what you see is actually the stubble on a corn field that was harvested in autumn ... at this time of the year almost everything's dead. Which is what is getting to me so much. That and the buckets full of rain we get every day, every day, every day. All the rivers have high water and all the meadows around them are flooded (yet again)...

But the good news is: yesterday afternoon I was OUT again and WITH THE CAMERA! Yay :yay:
