Shanghai?
I hear that city has become very modern and new in China (and I would think this is in China because of the writing).
Crystal clear photo - did you sharpen it a bit further to bring out this effect? Lovey light - is it dawn or dusk?

That must have been a wide angle lense, I can see distortion to both sides of the image, shouldn't be any problem to sort out in photoshop.

Other than that, as LaPhoto says, pin sharp and lovely light. As for the location, I have no Idea, but the writing suggests somewhere like China or Japan.

Did some Google-research via Google-Images, typing in Shanghai and up came photos that all feature this tower, so now I am quite positive that it is Shanghai. So my "gut feeling" was right. Goodie
