From a nearby sea bird breeding area. Not that you see it there but there's about a 230 foot sheer drop behind this bird. I was only a matter of feet from the edge too. Quite daunting but worth it to see these elegant creatures.

Nice set, I never see these birds so thanks for sharing. You never see me close to the edge of anything high up, I always envision the edge giving way and me screaming like a little school girl as I'm falling. Kudos for having the cojon's to get the shot. (careful!)
