There's an underage house party going on behind us right now. You know, one of those mature ones where it's acceptable to throw beer bottles over the fence into your neighbor's vegetable garden, or to smash bottles on the slide in the neighborhood kiddy park.

So if they are one of THOSE neighbors who have those type of problems, then be one of THOSE neighbors who call the cops.

I normally don't say this because no one likes a wet blanket (the person who ends a party) but I feel that if you are going to have your idiot friends over for a party at least make sure they don't disrespect all of the surrounding properties.

Yeah I hate to the party pooper, but, smashing beer bottles... not cool. The cops came, it got quiet for about 10 minutes and then they left in a hurry, presumably for something much more important, and now they're being rowdy again. I'm thinking maybe the sprinklers should accidently turn on. Might keep them away from the fence at least. :mrgreen:

Maybe if you turn the lights on in your backyard, they will be more hesitant to be breaking glass over the fence.. it'll make them think there are people on the other side. This is actually proven to work .

Maybe if you turn the lights on in your backyard, they will be more hesitant to be breaking glass over the fence.. it'll make them think there are people on the other side. This is actually proven to work .

It's pretty well lit, and they were standing under a street lamp. So I guess the light didn't bother them.

What ever happened to the good ole days where you drove an hour into the bush so NO ONE could hear you? I'd rather sit on a tail gate in the middle of no where, then stand in the street of a townhouse complex. :er:

Oh that's easy today's kids are lazy. They're too lazy to know what it means to work towards something.... anything. Today's kids refuse to walk to the store... they have to drive. Too lazy to pull their pants all the way up. Too lazy to remember to wear underwear. Too lazy to care about other people than themselves. Sad but true...

Especially one of those oscillating ones where the fan goes back and forth. Dang, it just happened to break so it only goes to that side of the yard.
