Photos NOT OK to edit
Came to work, upload them and within 15 mins I get message from Mohsen raving about the pictures. Another 20 minutes go by and I get a call from Hira just floored about the pictures saying "Mohsen woke me up telling me 'you HAVE to see the pix'....and OMG I LOVE THEM!"

This is my first client that have shown so much excitement and she's been texting me every few minutes telling me who saw the pix and how much they loved them. This is very exciting for me and their wedding will be very extravagant!

OK now to show some of the ones I picked to post :)

I think they're great Mo! Nicely done, you seemed to capture their 'sparks' between them. Too many pictures to CC on, but I'm not fan of the far away shots like in 17/18. One more picky'ness from me lol, in 7, my eyes are drawn to the mural over them. I nearly had to search for them haha. Although I like the idea, if you had them step away from the wall and shoot them closer up, blurring the background a bit, I think it would have served as an awesome backdrop.

Pretty good. What I dont like is #8. The grass have different colors in the same collages. I dont like the far away shots either. Your best shots are 24+

That's the best motivator right there. You keep up that following and I'm sure they'll be calling you for family/baby portraits in few

How about posting another 18 to 20 pics...not sure if I got the overall vibe from this shoot from just the first 28 images you posted, Mo.

I really like number 7, but I don't know why, haha. Very nice work!

Once you got to the formals they started to look good. You are going to have to really watch out for raccoon eyes on the groom.....

There's something about the enthusiasm your client has about these photos that you really need to be told, and there's no other way to say it except to come right out and say it; the time that you allow clients to see the images for the first time is the time that you need to be SELLING images; in the form of folios, canvas wall prints, canvas wraps, and regular enlargements. These 28 + 23 images (rough count) you posted are small, yet clear and sharp, and by tonight, she will have forwarded THIS e-mail link to all her closest friends, and family members. ALl of the enthusiasm built up since the shoot, and all of the enthusiasm she's displaying today will be greatly diminished within just a few hours. If you are making a HUGE profit on your session fees and images on disc, that's one thing; if however, you are trying to upsell anything at all, you really can not afford to let the enthusiasm for the images be drained away without financial compensation--and these free web peeks totally KILL sales. Selling photographic images is an art, and there are proven strategies that have been refined over many decades; posting large numbers of images on the web ensures that your sales will go to hell, fast. Releasing proofs, or images on CD's, with the client having full control over the images, kills the market value for the majority of your images.

Great advice Derrel!
