had a question

so in april im gonna be going to an indoor car show. i have a d40 and will be using the 18-55, im wondering what the best settings are to use so i dont come out with blurry shots because theres gonna be some low light situations, and i dont wanna be in there with a tripod haha. Any advice, thanks in advance.

Your best bet would be either a flash (like the excellent SB-400, or just your built in), using a higher ISO (Might result in noisy pictures) or bringing a tripod. If you use the built in flash, I would strongly recomend controling it manualy, I'm not a huge fan of TTL. I would seriusly consider bringing a tripod unless the object your shooting is in motion.
