Had some fun today...

Went out for some more practice and these are some of my favorites.. All of them were shot on manual mode, so I would like some feedback on my exposure. These were all taken in full sun light..Not a lot of options.

1) 50mm, f5.6, 1/800

This was a football goal..I looked up and thought the yellow looked cool against the blue sky. I did some editing and may have over saturated it.

2) 50mm, f2.8 (I didn't check my aperture before taking the picture), 1/400. I liked the pattern of triangles made by the sun.

3) 50mm, f2.8 (again, I think it should have been higher), 1/2500. Since my focus was working on exposure I wasn't thinking about her position. It would have been more cute (or is it cuter??) if she wasn't squinting.

Love the second one, never actually realised they're triangles. You opened my eyes!

I love the vibrant colors in 1 and don't mind the saturation. As for 2, I think it's very creative. Perhaps but it's a great shot nontheless. Moving the lighting, as you said perhaps may have made it even better.

For #1 - I'd have tried another version moving the joint out of the center. Just going either more to the left or right. Might have been interesting as well.

#3 - Definitely needs some fill light. It could have been a great shot with that.

I agree on the sqinting but I still like the last one the best. Good Job.

1 and 2 are great examples of abstract photography! Well done.
