A true legend. Saw him live quite a few times - once he broke a string mid song and just calmly sat there and restrung his guitar right on stage while chatting up the audience.

Never got to see him live, but I've got tons of his music and love it all. Even have a B.B. King Pandora station, and yes, it's playing all day today.

Got to see him live as the closer of a Jazz festival and he came on stage at about 8 and played pretty much nonstop until 11. He was only in his 70's at the time so still a young buck. Man he made that guitar sing.

One of my biggest inspirations as a kid wanting to play the guitar. Will be missed.
