Here in Wisconsin, ice fishing is quite popular. I haven't gone in years, though. The lakes are dotted with those that can tough it out, and those that can't...

I've always felt it takes something away from the experience when you drive a car out to your plush heated fishing shack from which you drop in your line.

Very nice. Man...I love fishing, but have never been ice fishing. We do not have enough ice in my local region to ever,ever fish on ice.

I love ice fishing. Won an ice auger at a fishing contest 2 weeks ago. Last Sunday, I had to try it out. Hardcore style. The wind finally chased me off after about three hours. Bunch a little ones. Kept 2 crappies and 8 sunnies. Enough for a couple meals.
