Really nice shots on the Harlequins. Two o' me Mates went to Rhode Island and photographed some there last weekend. Beautiful birds.

Well caught. Not being sunny probably worked in your favour as in sun you'd have to work harder to avoid clipping the highlights and blocking the shadows. Slightly overcast acts as a giant softbox and can allow easier capture of fine detail.
