This is two treatments of the same image. The second is made by overlaying the first image, changing the blend mode to Luminosity, reducing the opacity of 33%, then masking back more of the color in the suits.

The first image is the original of the second, B&W adjustment layer, Silver Efex Pro2 overexposed for first layer, opacity back to 57%, then an additional SEP2 layer on Yellows 2 with frame, masking back the detail in the uniforms, faces and feet.

The original Image was shot aboard the Allure of the Seas, last Christmas.

What happened to their hands? I like the first one better. More whimsical somehow.

I think the cruise director would have tossed me overboard had I tried to climb up there. Just a nice fun piece.
