Hawk and Cardinals

This hawk is a major crop, way to far away, but I haven't been able to capture one for a couple weeks now so I'll take what I can get. It was also way under exposed and didn't have time to adjust settings.

That's my state bird! (the cardinal). Nice shots. I think I'm at a similar experience level as you when it comes to birds. I almost got my first hawk today! But it flew away before I could get the shot

Yeah haha... I wish I knew some local bird photographers that could show me the ropes.
