Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hello all!

I'm new to HDR and I'm looking for a critique of this photo I shot on a business trip I took this week. My aim was to make the pic more closely represent what I could see than any one exposure was capable of.

What do you think? Is there anything you would do different?

Thanks,
Whiskey

For HDR you still have quite a bit of underexposed/black area in the foreground and midrange of the pic. Did you take multiple bracketed exposures? It looks like, if you did, you either needed to bracket your exposures 2 stops apart or take more pics at 1 stop (5 or more) for the HDR to capture the darkest areas. Keep shooting HDR- when you start nailing the dynamic range of a shot like this, you will fall in love with it.

Also, you may get more help in the HDR sections of this forum

I would agree with the above. I think Hugh's edit was good. The original looks underexposed and lacking detail.

I would also try and burn the lights in the distance to bring out more color and reduce the haze.
