Heaven freezes?

Asked to do a set of picture for a book on this church - chose the coldest day for ages and nearly froze to the tripod!

Mainly interiors of various artifacts in the church as well as for notelets and postcards. Looking at this "photoshopped drawing" technique for easy reproduction. Unusual for this country as the church was built by public subscription and not the property of the Diocese.

Really like the PS treatment on this...it will work well for its intended destination on postcards. Is the church far from you?

Looks like a postcard, great work! Truly a beautiful old structure with a lot of character.

This is a very young church - about to be 150 yrs compared with most village churched round here near 1000yrs. It was built as the Rector of the day who thought the simple medieval church (now in ruins) was not grand enough for the village. This one cost £1700 in 1858.

That predates our civil war by several years. To us that's old, Europe has a much longer history. So I guess it's a matter of perspective as are most things in our craft.
