Heavy Security at the U.S Open

I'm not a tennis fan, so was a little bemused at the enormous police presence as I walked to the subway on my way home through Flushing Meadows Park. I remembered that the U.S open was being played this week and regretted a little that I was outside the stadium with all my equipment. My disappointment abated a little when I came upon this scene. I didn't know what I liked about it at the time, just thought it was cool..
