Nicely done. Exposure is spot on, even with the bright background and white shirt.

My only nitpick would be that her left elbow is clipped, if this was done in post give it a little wider crop...

Thanks! There was no cropping done in post, she was just a wiggly little 4 year old that I got to chase around for a bit.

I would just crop her in tighter. Im always ceopping in to close though, my wife on the other hand wants to see everyones feet! Drives me crazy.

Thanks! OG - I tend to usually crop in quite close. I'm working on learning to pull back a bit and that everything doesn't always have to be so tight. I'll definitely try a closer crop though and see if I like it a bit better.

Lightroom mobile changed a lot in latest upload, thought Id try it out on your photo dont take the edit too seriously just showing the crop idea.

Well, pretty good for a beginner, most certainly. Just two or three small nits: first off, the sleeve on the right hand edge of the picture: it seems a bit too overly bright, especially here, where it bleeds off into the TPF white, but still, about 1/3 EV too hot. Second, relating to the sleeve: as two have said, the crop at that edge of the sleve seems a bit less than ideal; to that, I think the above crop is better than the original framing of the shot. Third...her eyes look "worked" in software. maybe they are not, but this is a common technique people are being taught these days, to go in and ZAP! the eyes...personally, I don't like that.

I think overall though, it is a pleasant enough shot. Certainly much above the level of a great deal of beginner's work. her expression looks a little bit practiced, not super-relaxed, but at that age, many chldren put on a picture face whenever a camera comes out, and it's not an unpleasant expression by any means. If as a self-described beginner, if this is where you have started, you'll soon be cranking out fantastic work!

Thanks Derrel for your CC! Her eyes aren't worked at all, just an exceptional bright blue. She definitely had the practiced expression expected of that age, even after warming up and being silly.
