hello all! my name is brad and im an addict!
i took my plunge on black friday 09 and got my first slr. ill never go back.
did the research and decided to get a D40...well that same night i decided i was getting a camera for black friday newegg sent out an email with a kit for 450. sold!
i found this forum by a google search for some lens info...now i am in the downward economic spiral known as dSLR cameras.
i love this. i love motorcycles and this is a close 2nd.
which moves me on to what i am going to be actually shooting. i do alot of events and rides/track day stuff. i want to be able to shoot that. i have the kit 18-55 (decent light lens, not the vr version) and i bought a 55-200 vr.
here are just a few of the pics ive taken, more or less just messing around...not actually trying to compose a proper picture. oh, while im on that subject im really trying to work on composing better...if its a person standing by a lake i will suck at that...but i am alright at getting decent and unique pictures of moving vehicles/motorsports (you know, the one chance kind of shots)
anyways, here are a few i have taken:
(this one was for insurance company)
(friends bike for sale)
(autoshow pics)
anyways! ill be sticking around, cameras are awesome
