Hello,

Good to see a helpful and active photo community.

A bit about myself.

I've wandered the web and landed here while I was looking for instruction/advice.

I have been shooting products for commercial websites for a while now. Things like toys, clothing (not modeled), parts (car/boating), and other similar things. The shooting progressed to photoshop manipulation to incorporate images into websites. I do this mostly as a hobby but have had enough work lined up that I've had to turn some away.

I've had a very basic digital camera (Sony Alpha A200) for a bit now and have never had need for any upgrades.

I recently got referred by a good client to two businesses which require form and figure photography. So here I am looking for pointers, inspiration, gear suggestions, an so on.
