Hello, from Central Texas

Hello, my name is Laci but everyone calls me LJ. I'm fairly new to focused photography, although like most people I've been taking pictures for most of my life. I'm 40 years old and the mother of 3, mostly grown, sons. I love in Central Texas and decided I needed a hobby I enjoyed besides gaming, one that would get me out of the house more often. I love shooting photos, so this was a no brainer. I have no plans to be a professional, but I would like to take great photographs!

As of right now, I only do point and shoot photography. This is more an issue of economics and circumstances at present than anything else. I will move on to SLR photography as soon as it's feasible to do so. I look forward to learning and growing here on the forums!
