I'm purchasing a Canon 50D this week and I'm super excited.

I'm pretty much a SLR newbie, but would love to do more professional
photos soon.
So, I'm starting here, there and everywhere to glean as much as possible.

Hi Bella! Welcome to the forum. I shoot a 50D, just got it a few weeks ago upgrading from a Rebel Xti.

I noticed you are in education, I am a teacher in here in Missouri so we already have 2 things in common!

I am sure you will find lots of help here on the forum. Lots of good people here. Look forward to seeing your 1st shots.
