Hello from Florida

Greeting everyone, I am relatively new to photography, I have used and learned on my friends cameras for a few years. I just recently acquired a Nikon D40 from my pops. and I'm having a blast shooting with this camera. I have been wanting to get into macro shots. Have been thinking about getting a Nikon 105mm f/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor or Nikon AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED but cant decide. I have learned a lot from your site in the past, just haven't signed up until now. I hope to grow with all of you.
