Hello,
I have been into photography my entire life. Began with a canon point and shoot when I was a kid. In junior high (I think it's referred to as middle school now) I inherited a film camera from my grandfather. I don't remember the brand, but I used it all the time. Our art room had a dark room which taught me how to process my film and make my own prints. Although that was fun I bought my first Nikon a D40 when I landed my first job. I now shoot with a Nikon D5100. I am saving up to buy a D810.
I joined to connect with other photographers and get honest feedback on photographs. I love taking pictures of my family. Of course I am a mom so go figure. I also love photojournalism.
