Okay, so I've come across an old abandoned two story schoolhouse with floor to ceiling windows, some blown out. Plaster walls with lots of cracks. High ceilings. Wood framed doorways. Etc. A whole lot of character in the building with a lot of unique availalable light and background settings.
Is there a genre or name for this type of setting / location, similiar to how we might refer to a country setting or foliage setting or lake setting.
I've seen many portraits done in old abandoned warehouses, run down factories, etc. and when proposing this type of setting to models I always struggle on how to refer to this setting / location / look.
Any ideas?
Ron
